12 of 12 time! This week I had the day off so there are some more interesting pictures! Check out Chad's blog for other 12 of 12s and info on how it all works.
7:15am: Wake up #1 ala puppy. She's used to going outside around this time, so I dragged myself out of bed to take her outside.
8:25am: Wake up #2 ala puppy. This time she brought a whole bunch of toys to see if that could spur me out of bed. My alarm went off 5 minutes later, so according to her, it probably worked. :)10:12am: Waiting for the bus. Liz and I are on our way to get our hair cut at a student school up in Evanston.
10:28am: In order to get to Evanston, we took the Metra commuter train. From the Clybourn stop you can see downtown.
10:56am: On the train
1:17pm: Hair cuts complete, Liz and I went up to her boyfriend's office to thank him for setting up the cheap ($5!!) haircuts. It was a pretty good experience, really. The boy (18 years old) that cut my hair was super nice, if not a little scared. And although it took him an hour and half to cut 2 inches off, he did a good job!
1:30pm: After visiting Chris, Liz and I went across the street to Bar Louie for some lunch.
2:20pm: We had a couple of beers as well.
3:50pm: A big group of us are going to see Dropkick Murphys at the Congress tonight. Since I can't get a camera in there, I took a picture of the marquee on the way home. (It's just a block from my apartment!)
7:30pm: After a quick nap, Bob came over and we had a couple of beers before the show. We went outside to meet some friends that were coming over and found Nick on the front porch! He doesn't have a cell phone and our doorbell isn't working, so it was a bit of a surprise to see him there.
7:37pm: A round of shots before the concert, courtesy of Chris.
9:57pm: After the concert, Bob gives Sadie some pets.
I took some camera phone pictures at the concert but still can't figure out how to get them sent to an e-mail address. Bummer.

wow, small world! i found your blog through (several degrees of scrapbooking stuff to find) the whole 12 of 12th thing.
my son, daughter-in-law and daughter live in chicago (2 yrs now). i'm pretty sure they went to see the dropkick murphys. my daughter goes to bar louie frequently. she also gets her hair cut and colored at the hair school (she works at potbelly's in evanston).
this may not *really* count as "small world" stuff, but hey - i'm a middle-aged techtard in kansas, so humor me, ok? :)
