I've watched about 10 seconds of this but I find it HILARIOUS. And insane.
Or I'm insane. Not sure yet.

Oscars 2008
I haven't seen many of the nominated films, but I found this highly amusing.
That's all. I'm busy trolling websites to see if they can figure out what happened to Heath Ledger. So sad.

12 of 12 January 2008
It's a little late (I'm not on my computer much on the weekends) but here it is! My 12 of 12 for January 2008. Thanks to Chad for the idea.
9:34am: Sadie waits patiently for her treat after her morning walk.
9:35am: The diet goes out the window on the weekends and this morning I celebrated with McDonald's. And a REGULAR coke. No diet. McDonald's Coke is the best made. I think they do something special to it.
10:55am: Playing Lego Star Wars on my PSP. LOVE it.
1:12pm: Corner of Damen, North, and Milwaukee, Chicago. I'm waiting for the bus while on my way to meet Liz at Cleo's for brunch. She's been working there for a while now and I've never visited. Today I fixed that.
2:07pm: Cleo's on Chicago. Brunch of course included a bloody mary.
4:03pm: Home now and decided to take out the trash/recycling that's been sitting by my door for the last 2 weeks.
4:13pm: I also decided to fix my nasty nail polish. The polish is now gone and the nails are taking a breather. The winter is rough on them.
5:00pm: My to-do list complete, I decided to play some wii tennis. And got totally trounced. Apparently when you play really poorly they take away your pro points. And I played really poorly today.
5:26pm: Getting ready for Bob to come over. Decided to smurf myself up with a face mask.
5:46pm: Sadie found a tennis ball and proceeded to annoy the neighbors by dropping it continually on the hardwood floors. It's now back in a drawer where she can't get to it. It's an outside toy now.
8:14pm: Bob came over with gifts! These little miller lite bottles are the cutest! But they go quickly...7 oz beers require a lot of trips to the fridge.
9:00pm: At Floyd's on Armitage for dinner and a few more drinks.
See you next month!

Torn and other Webistes I'm Reading
Not a lot going on here right now. The holidays are over and I'm back at work. Ugh. So, since I'm back at work, here are a number of websites I've been reading lately!
WatchHolly.com
This is a fun daily website that chronicles a women's day-to-day life through a photo and a quick paragraph of what's going on. The fun part is that it started with the announcement of her pregnancy (her first) and you get to watch her progress though that (both mentally and physically) and eventually you get to meet her baby! I recommend going to the archives and starting from the beginning. She's wonderfully honest and charming.
AroundtheWorldforFree.com
This site chronicles the quest of two guys who are making their way around the world strictly through the help of strangers. They have no money and therefore no food and no place to stay. In the past 110 days they've made it to South America, Africa, and Asia with $0. The kindness of people around the world if really heartwarming. They update the site via videos (very well-produced) and I believe that they still do updated on the Today show on the weekends. So you may have heard of them.
Elyse Sewell's LiveJournal
I love ANTM. And I loved Elyse. She's now a successful model and blogs about it, often posting pictures of herself that would embarrass most people. She has a great sense of humor about herself and what she does for a living. She's witty and clever and I get excited every time she posts something new. Although the most recent entry makes me sad. (I deleted the Shins off of my Ipod b/c of it).
And lastly, for those of you that don't want to click on any of the above, a little video that I found fun.
