Cubs Video!

When we were out in Mesa for Cubs Spring Training, my sister, brother-in-law and nephews were interviewed by ESPN.com. The video is now up on their site!

(It's kind of a dorky premise, but it's fun to see them in the video! And poor Jack gets so shy around strangers. It's cute)

Hopefully the hyperlink above will work, otherwise, the video's tough to find, but if you go to ESPN.com, click on the MLB dropdown, click on MLB Video, their video is on the third page called "Jim Caple: Is This Finally the Cubs' Year?" Jack and Matt are at 2:45 and Jandy and Ben are at 2:34.

Yes, Double Post

I heart Improv Everywhere. This is their most recent mission and it's FAB. Check it out .

Video Fun!

Caution: if you're a sensitive (prim) soul, you might want to think twice before clicking. I wouldn't want to make you blush.

Torn and other Webistes I'm Reading

Not a lot going on here right now. The holidays are over and I'm back at work. Ugh. So, since I'm back at work, here are a number of websites I've been reading lately!

WatchHolly.com
This is a fun daily website that chronicles a women's day-to-day life through a photo and a quick paragraph of what's going on. The fun part is that it started with the announcement of her pregnancy (her first) and you get to watch her progress though that (both mentally and physically) and eventually you get to meet her baby! I recommend going to the archives and starting from the beginning. She's wonderfully honest and charming.

AroundtheWorldforFree.com
This site chronicles the quest of two guys who are making their way around the world strictly through the help of strangers. They have no money and therefore no food and no place to stay. In the past 110 days they've made it to South America, Africa, and Asia with $0. The kindness of people around the world if really heartwarming. They update the site via videos (very well-produced) and I believe that they still do updated on the Today show on the weekends. So you may have heard of them.

Elyse Sewell's LiveJournal
I love ANTM. And I loved Elyse. She's now a successful model and blogs about it, often posting pictures of herself that would embarrass most people. She has a great sense of humor about herself and what she does for a living. She's witty and clever and I get excited every time she posts something new. Although the most recent entry makes me sad. (I deleted the Shins off of my Ipod b/c of it).

And lastly, for those of you that don't want to click on any of the above, a little video that I found fun.

Randomness & Plans for the Weekend

So, I leave for Spain in 6 days. What? Spain? When did this come up?

I'm so not ready.

Since I'm leaving in the middle of the week, I have a lot to get done this weekend. I'm heading over to the laundromat (Bubbleland!) for the first time on Sunday so that'll be taken care of. I also need to buy new earbuds since mine are breaking and the last thing I want to happen is to not have ipod access on an 8 hour plane ride. I also need to find a new bathing suit since the last one I bought is from 1999, I think. THAT'LL be fun. Bathing suit shopping is always a horror.

Tomorrow is Bark in the Park! I'm still pretty excited for that, but I need to coordinate cars/rides. My roommate may need his car which will make it a LOT more difficult for me, L and Sadie to get up to Montrose Harbor. Since he doesn't usually get up until 12, I think we'll be ok, but I've got to get that worked out. Too far to walk. And it's supposed to rain. Sigh. Wet dog + wet feet = ew. I hope hope hope it'll hold off until after the walk. If it's pouring, I might not actually WALK. Maybe just head up there and get some goods and then head home. (BAD)

Also, my dog is totally funny. At our new place we have a fenced in back yard so we've been taking her back there to run around. She seems to like it ok, but if the neighbor dog is out she has a BLAST. They can run back and forth for forever. I took a video since I found it totally cute.

Finally, that new Vitaminwater is really good. XXX, I think it's called. I'm totally going to buy out Target if they have it on sale still. Yummy.
